The University of Richmond is a private, liberal arts college founded in 1830. Its current student body is made up of 2,857 undergraduate, 697 master’s and professional and 617 part-time and 238 full-time continuing education students. The U.S. News & World Report has ranked Richmond as one of the best liberal arts universities in the nation and in the top 35 for undergraduate research. Newsweek has named Richmond the “Hottest School in America for International Studies”. In fact, more than half of the University’s undergrads participate in one of the 75 study abroad programs currently available.
Richmond offers 55 majors, 42 minors and 12 concentrations at the bachelor’s level. The undergraduate schools of study are: School of Arts and Sciences, Robins School of Business and the Jepson School of Leadership Studies (pictured above).
